Bruce has a unique, natural ability to connect with others. He quickly builds trust and fosters real-life relationships that inspire, influence and effectively motivate one’s personal development. His drive, leadership, empathy and positive attitude, combined with his working efficiency and competitive knowledge provides the most effective learning experience for students, parents, faculty and administration.
— Parent, Jeannine
From his patient, kind, and warm nature, to his ability to develop trusting relationships, Bruce has an exceptional ability to engage with students in a personal and professional manner. Bruce’s ability to communicate with parents as an administrator is second to none. He is relatable and approachable, thoughtful and strategic with his advice, and always has the best interests of the family and student at heart. We are grateful and appreciative for his guidance to us as parents and also to our son as an educator.

Bruce has the unique ability to help parents look ahead ten days AND ten years as they consider the development of their children. His approach is both supportive and reassuring as it is grounded in decades of work teaching, mentoring and celebrating young people. I left our interactions feeling ready to focus on a productive, lifelong (and positive) relationship with my child.
— Parent, Elizabeth
Bruce has a way with people. Whether he is working with a 10th grade student, guiding an experienced teacher or administrator, or providing helpful perspective to a parent, Bruce connects. Because of his many years of experience in this world, and of the many varied and important roles he has played, I consider him to be one of the most balanced and wise educators I have ever worked with. He and I have managed many emotionally charged and challenging situations together over the years, and I have absolute trust in him, and he knows his stuff.
— School Psychologist and Parent, Sarah
Bruce is truly a master educator who really understands how teenagers think. He coached our son, Jacob, throughout the college admission process, and Jacob really responded to Bruce’s ideas and advice. While he insisted that Jacob “own it,” Bruce guided him in ways we could not as parents relatively unfamiliar with the current process . Bruce’s help was invaluable, the results were outstanding, and Jacob is thriving as an honors engineering student.
